Jurors

Dear Judge Saldaña,

I had jury duty the week of June 26th , and had the pleasure of visiting your court on Wednesday, June 28th. It was a DWI case in which I was one of the 20 prospective jurors. I was ultimately not selected to be on the six-man jury panel and my jury duty officially ended that afternoon.

I wanted to write this letter and let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your court and meeting you. I am a legal secretary at a law office here in town, and am familiar with the court system. I was impressed with the way you conducted yourself and your court. In the past when I have been on a jury panel and going through "voir dire", it was never explained to the jurors as thorough as you had done. I am familiar with the process, but there are a lot of people who are not. I hope I have the pleasure of visiting your court again in the future.
