Members of the Legal Community

Dear Ms. Saldaña,

On behalf of the State Bar of Texas, I would like to thank you for your services as a member of the Jury Service Committee. The State Bar of Texas depends on devoted volunteers like yourself to carry out the important work of the State Bar. The dedication you and others in the profession have shown during your term as a committee member has proved itself in the number of programs and projects accomplished by committees over the years.

Thank you very much for your dedicated assistance in carrying out the work of the State Bar.

Dear Judge Saldaña,

On behalf of my clients, I thank you for the kind and thoughtful considerations you extended to us on Monday, August 30th,, in hearing their Application for the Probate of their mother's Will which was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on August 30th, When I arrived at 12:45 p.m., I encountered 10,000 potential jurors (perhaps less) camped at the doors to your courtroom.

One of my clients was flying in from Dallas and his sister was driving in from Katy, Texas. Both were anxious to have the hearing at 1:30 p.m. in order to return to their homes the next day. When they arrived early around 1:00 p.m., you kindly consented to hear their application immediately, which thereby allowed them to depart for their homes.

Again, both my clients and I thank you for your thoughtfulness and considerations.

Judge Saldana,

More than in any court, I really do feel in your court a sense of and commitment to doing the just and compassionate thing. It makes appearing before you a pleasure.

Dear Judge Saldaña,

I would like to thank you and your fine staff for the time and opportunity to have my case heard this past week. Your courtesy, consideration, and attention were greatly appreciated.

You are all extremely busy, your caseload is heavy, and it was apparent to me as an unbiased observer that all of you labor long and hard to accomplish your duties and responsibilities.

Once again, thank you each and every one for your many considerations.

Dear Judge,

I have not said thank you yet, and I wanted to be sure that I expressed my gratitude for your caring enough last summer to see that I was not living right and pointed me in the right direction. I am not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I now feel a lot more confident that I will accept and handle it. None of this would have happened without me being directed to another way of life--again thanks.

Dear Judge Saldaña,

Thank you for the very warm and professional manner you received my brother and me in your courtroom last week. We were very impressed with your alert and efficient staff who were most cooperative and helpful.
